On behalf of the volunteers who comprise the Old Fashioned Christmas Committee, we want all people coming to our community to have an enjoyable experience when visiting. The safety of our guests is our top priority and we strive to keep everyone apprised of the most current information available.
As of today; many of the planned seasonal events, winery excursions, lodging, businesses and restaurants of Dahlonega and Lumpkin County are now open and/or planned for holiday visitors. We recommend checking the Old Fashioned Christmas Calendar of Events to see the most current information regarding any events scheduled, altered or cancelled during the traditional holiday season (Nov 27, 2020 – Jan 1, 2021).
We strongly encourage social distancing while enjoying our community, shopping and seasonal events. Please wear a mask or face covering for your safety as well as that of others. Always use your best judgement and consider your comfort level and health when attending any event or gathering. Risk warning.
